I did not know what to expect. being outside and the weather was cool. Thought it should have been inside a classroom setting to start out with. Being at the waterfront park had it's distractions of a public park dealing with people and noise of this location. But I did learn more about photography skills which is what I had hoped to do.

I go for morning photo walks often and just happened to be visiting Root Bridge Park this autumn morning. I had shot a handful of detail photos and then got to the lake on the trail. I stopped and took in the scene for a bit enjoying the peace and quiet and then snapped this photo while the lake was perfectly glassed off. The clouds and sky were really a perfect compliment to the fall colors. The photo was lightly edited in Lightroom Classic with color grading and a bit of cropping. Shot on Sony

My husband and I decided to make a spontaneous trip down to Cannon Beach. Tuesday at 4:34pm 11/14/23We drove to my favorite spot to watch the sunset at Haystack rock. As we were walking down the stairway with the big haystack rock in view, the sun was setting. As we reached the top of the stairway headed down to the beach, I stopped and took photos with my iPhone 13, this 1 was just perfect timing. My other pictures did not quite capture the lighting from the sun. I?m quit happy wit

My absolute favorite thing to do is bring my camera along with me, my love for photography is strong. I love being in nature and the ocean is so very humbling. I use a Canon Mark 3. I shoot in manual mode 99 of the time so I can get the lighting that I love. This was taken towards the evening and I could have placed myself there forever. I did use an editing tool to pop the colors a bit. I am so happy that you are enjoying this photo as well.

Taken with Nikon D7500 with 300mm Nikkor lens. Two male Kingfishers possibly adult male and offspring sitting low by the River Crane. Light was low so had to use a high ISO. Because of this the image had to be denoised . It was then cropped and clarity and texture added in Lightroom. I have a nice triptych of them sitting in three different poses.
